ISO Q1 & Q1 Pro & V1 & K2 & K2 Pro OEM Dye-Sub PBT Keycap Set - Carbon

Hi. I like the colourway and the quality of the material an the print of the keycaps. But unfortunately not the OEM profile. It is higher than the Cherry profile and has much sharper edges. It's something to get used to. But I switched back to cherry profile.

The keys are amazing, the feel is much better than the original keys, and the sound improves too. It is true that light cannot pass through the keys, that is why the letters do not light up, but light can pass through the around them. I recommend that you buy it without a doubt.

I completely agree with Javier's comment below.
I am so 100% happy with these keycaps, their texture, their color (got the carbon variant, so exquisitely vintage).
BUT:
So sad that the backlight leds become useless, I total darkness, I cannot see the top of the keycap like the original keyboard's keycaps provide.
I would totally RE-BUY this set if the legends were translucent (see-through)...

My first impression was not as good as I wanted/expected it to be: these keys are not compatible with backlight keyboards. Well, of course you can use them with a backlight keyboard, but the light does not pass through, so there is no difference if you use the lights on or off, or if your keyboard is only white backlight or RGB: you don't see any light.

BUT the keys are just impressive, and the readability is so good that you only will miss the caps lock key light: its red when locked, and you will notice it only in dark environment, because there is a red glow under the key.

The texture and the noise and the sturdiness of these keys are really really incredible. So, my only complain is, assuming you will lose the backlight effects, at least include some tiny hole in the caps lock key to let the red light pass through (of course, you still can use the original key, but these are so much better that I rather lose the red indicator than the absolutely great feeling of these keys when typing)

The Keycaps look very nice, I love typing on them. One thing I would like to mention for the KeyChron Team, is that the Digits and Numbers could be printed just a little more precise but that’s it.

I can totally recommend them if you wish to have a old school flavor Keyboard ⌨️ 👍
