Keychron Q11
Coming in a 75% Layout and a split design, the Q11 helps you to explore the angles and positions that fit you the best. With its full metal CNC machined body, QMK/VIA support, and unique design, the Q11 is ideal for fulfilling your typing needs!
Split Design
With a split layout, the Q11 allows you to position each side where you feel most sensible and ergonomic. You can also use it as a non-split keyboard by linking the two halves with a bridge cable.

A Refined Piece of Metal Art
The entire metal body is crafted with 6063 aluminum that is processed through CNC machined, polished, anodized, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to make this solid metal piece of art that is the Q11.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ultra-low-power ARM architecture MCU equipped with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps
These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.
Switch layouts between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron Q11 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Programmable Knob
Designed to enhance your creative workflow, the aluminum rotary encoder allows you to easily customize your favorite keys and macros on the knob through the VIA software.
You can easily customize the Q11's knob to your desired key or macro commands such as: zooming in/out, adjusting screen brightness, brush size, volume, selecting video clips or photos, or backlight hue.

Program with QMK & Launcher.
The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. Now you can easily customize each key with the Keychron Launcher web app.

Hot-swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches.
South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
Pre-lubed Gateron G Pro Switch
By optimizing the switch mold, the Gateron G Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the G Pro switches (excluding the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.
All New Screw-in PCB Stabilizers
The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less shaky. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, delete) typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron Q11 also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.

I'd love a version of this keyboard that has a 65% layout, is low-profile, wireless, and around 500g or lighter
A portable mechanical split keyboard with a standard row-staggered layout would be a dream!
Like other Keychron Q series keyboards, this is a great option with a heavy build and nice default keycaps and switches. However, I had problems with the usb c port to connect to my computer from Day 1. I bought a better cable and that fixed it for a while but eventually the port stopped working altogether. Keychron refused to send a free replacement because the board was over a year old. The parts you feel are high quality but make no mistake corners are cut on the internals. I would stay away until they commit to fixing this - even though it’s a great experience when it’s working.

I know you're thinking - which ergo mechanical keyboard should I invest in?
The Rise? The ErgoDox EZ? Moon Lander?
I have tried them, and let me tell you something: it is way harder to get used to a non-QWERTY layout than you think, and you will lose (some) of your ability to type with any other keyboard. The gains you get from having layers to access keys like Fn1-12 are not as good as just having the keys themselves.
Before you go all out into one of those specialized layouts, try the Keychron split. It's way more affordable and resellable, and if you don't like it as a split, it can function just fine as a regular keyboard! Just stick some magnets on the side and bring the two halves together.
This keyboard is the best way to try ergo splits.
I really hope they make another version with:
- End key. The knobs just aren't that useful, and I don't need two of them.
- Tenting kit option. I built my own tilt platform for this keyboard because they don't have a kit.
- Low profile option.
