Cherry Profile Double-Shot PBT Full Set Keycaps - Dolch Red, Gray White Mint, Blue Black Yellow

Firstly, echoing the other reviewer here - it is frustrating these keycaps aren't exact replacements, symbol-wise, for a Keychron Q3 Max I just got. I liked the crop symbol, lock, lightbulb for backlighting, etc. and wish these keycaps had those. I went with the square, triangle and circle instead - not a dealbreaker, but frustrating.

Otherwise the Dolch Red colorway is beautiful. The doubleshot legends look amazing - never had a set of a doubleshot caps before and I love the perfectly crisp lettering. The font is pleasing and has good kerning unlike some other doubleshot sets I've seen.

One thing I did not expect, being brand new to high end mechanical keyboards, was the impact the weight of the keycaps had on the tone of the keyboard. Turns out I strongly prefer how OEM caps sound - the out of the box tone of the Q3 was basically perfectly. With the Cherry keys, being about the half the size of OEM profile, the tone has shifted higher in pitch. Still better than any retail keyboard you are likely to find. I'm giving it some time but there is a good chance I will go back to an OEM profile for the sound.

First of all, I love the classic Cherry profile and the material choice. The color scheme looks similar to the K8 Pro's default keycap color scheme, which I like, except the blue-grey color on the alphas has been replaced with a mid-dark shade of grey. It looks a bit plain, but not boring, which I like.

There's only two small gripes I have. One, this does not seem to include an RGB/lightbulb keycap, which replaces the Pause button on most of Keychron's TKL boards (K8, V3, Q3, etc). Considering this keycap set is also made by Keychron, this seems to be an oversight. I'd appreciate if Keychron included a lightbulb keycap in future keycaps precisely for this purpose, especially since many of the people buying it are doing so to replace the default keycaps on their Keychron keyboards. In addition, while I would appreciate a second Windows/System key to be included, this doesn't bother me as much as the first criticism I brought up.
