A true gem in a dying market

I refuse to believe that we officially live in a world where the classic basilisk/g502 shape is dying, so I was shocked to see that there's only one well built, lightweight option that uses that shape. The M7 is lightweight, has unbelievably good battery life (I've charged it three times in 8 months of ownership), and has excellent fundamentals including coating, sensor and software. Being able to disable debounce is a big plus, and build quality is far above Glorious which is the only real alternative.

I would have preferred a slightly larger scroll wheel and a Razer Hypershift-like software feature, as well as slightly stiffer switches, but those are extremely tiny nitpicks and for $50 USD this is a hell of a lot of mouse regardless.

Probably the lightest mouse with a proper ergonomic shape

Pros:
-Very lightweight despite its ergonomic shape and wireless operation.
-Great grippy texture, no fingerprint markings; no "rubber" that could deteriorate over time.
-In real usage, it's on-par with some "better equipped" mice.
-Bloat-free, "straight to business" software.
-Clean looks, fit for an office.
-The connectivity options are almost excessive. It even works with an Android smartphone via BT.

Feedback:
-The mouse feet need rounded corners to reduce friction. The friction gets noticeably worse during stressful moments in gameplay when I press the mouse against the mousepad.
-The software could include firmware update feature.
-The right mouse button got a sharp edge on its right side, which makes some positions for ring finger uncomfortable. It's mitigated by a very minor grip adjustment, but having ring finger closer to the mouse's front is preferrable for accuracy, so it's a minor compromise.
-Steep price in Nordic region (somehow the price has increased since September 2024).

Looks like a great mouse. It is puzzling that infinite scroll wheel is missing in M7 while M6 has it

This could be a great alternative to Keychron M6 mouse for folks who might prefer this shape better but the lack of infinite scroll wheel is a deal breaker for me.
