Besides, I stick to Brown switch because it’s been always the best option for typing and normal usages. I’m so glad that they finally added this Brown switch option in the version 4. Unlike other Keychron keyboards, the K1 uses Gateron low-profile switches which are 48% thinner than conventional switches. A huge benefit of the switch is that it makes the whole keyboard slimmer and more suitable for minimalist desk setup.

Keychron K1 V4 review: A sleek, low-profile mechanical keyboard for Macs——by Christine Chan @imore  Nov 6, 2020

The Keychron K1 V4 is a low-profile mechanical keyboard, so it's like a hybrid between an Apple Magic Keyboard and a full-on mechanical. If you're a Magic Keyboard user who wants to try making the switch, I think the Keychron K1 V4 is the best board to start with.

The K1 continues to offer a full row of macOS function keys (F1-F12) with the same Mac legends that we expect from Apple keyboards. They function exactly as they should, and make my life easy. You can switch between Mac/iOS and Windows/Android at any time by flipping the switch on the back.

Easily the next biggest ergonomic upgrade you can give yourself is a desktop keyboard. The Keychron K4 is easily the most full-featured and yet affordable option around. This keyboard supports both wired and wireless connections over Bluetooth.

You’re also able to choose from a variety of Gateron mechanical key switches or optical switches if you want a keyboard that lasts a little longer. One other thing we love about the Keychron K4 is its compact design and key layout, which pushes the number keys right next to the main group of keys for a smaller frame.

It’s also the world’s first hot-swappable, low-profile, optical-switch keyboard, so you can hot-swap every switch to customize your typing experience without soldering, just pop the switch in and it’s done. With a mechanical or optical switch version, the two versions of the K3 make it suitable for home, office, light gaming or anything else you’re looking for in a keyboard that helps you get the job done.
